Elemental Affirmation and prayer for the Protectors

((I wrote this primarily for Security/Police etc but I know that it has help other professionals like nurses etc))

I sit beneath the full moon/Sun ((Which ever shift you work))
I pray you light embrace me
I ask your light protect me
Clense my heart my mind and my spirit
Center me within the work I am compelled to do

Earth… strength and unity the grounding force
Keep my grouned and grant me strength
Just as you are the basis of all elements
Grant me the fortitude to support those I work with
Grant me the power to complete the tasks given to me

Water… Self control… Fluid balance
Teach me how to overcome obstacles
Through fluid thought and mastry of self
Guide my emotions in my appointed task
In purity and unbiased sight.

Fire…Guide me actions in truth
With mastry over my own emitions and baises
Guide me in mastering all I can in my sacred work
Let truth burn within my soul
And guide my actions in my task of protector

Air… Truth and justice… breath of life.
Teach me to be true to myself and to the Protector that I am.
Bind me to the truth of the calling of my heart and soul once more
Direct my actions in justice and truth
Thank you for the life to give to the name of protection and justice

Spirit… Mirror… guide me inward
To teach me to reflect outwardly the honor and truth
That I carry for my sacred work comrads friends and family
Help me tap into the lessons of all elements
To preform the work that is my calling

Would this spell work o protect someone else, say a friend in trouble?

To be perfectly honest I do not know. I have never tried it in that context but I guess it could be rewritten to do so

Yes it could - it is all based on intent - but please make sure you ask your friend before you cast anything for her. You always need someone's permission before casting spells on them - even if its a good spell!
