My dad is doing better, now he wants to get his stomach reduced -- it's bulged since he had his hernia way back when and wants to have surgery to get rid of the bulge. I swear to Goddess, all he is doing is causing me more grief than it is worth. I wish my brother was here to help take care of him. He's really getting on my nerves!

All is good, though. Dan and I will hopefully get married this year at the courthouse; for now, that is what the talk is again. Good grief! I just want to do it and get it over with!

Thanks for adding me to your friends list, I am new to the site too, so I am still working out how it all works. I don't get a lot of time for this sort of thing, it's usually middle of the night stuff when sleep won't come, so I'm not sure that I make a good regular contact, but I'll try.
Yes, the horse is mine, her name is Red, (not named by me, but it's bad luck to change a horses name, so Red she stays)and she is the most beautiful (thankyou for noticing)posh girl I have ever owned. She is a quarterhorse who was bred and trained for reining/cutting work but turns out she hates cows and runs away from them given the chance, so no cow career there!!! She was 3 when she came to me and is 5 now, so we have years of fun ahead of us, I plan to do sidesaddle classes this year at a novice level, will have to wait to see the results of that, but as I am only dabbling for the fun results aren't that important.
I have 3 other horses who are considered Family Members (really how do you "own" another soul?) 2 dogs, a cat, a pair of peacocks, hens, a budgie and a rat family. All our animal FM's are rescues/other peoples rejects, humans can be so weird.
Do you have animal FM's? How old are your daughters? I have 2 girls, 12 and 17, also a son 20, they are the most amazing people, love them to bits.
