- Tell us a little bit about yourself
- I am a senior in college... going for anthropology. I am a discovery channel and TLC channel addict! I also love the history channel and foodnetwork. I am a reiki healer and am persuing more and more healing techniques. My family has converted (if thats what you want to call it) to the Wiccan tradition a few years ago.... 3 or 4 maybe. We havn't been practicing for long but we know we have found our right path.
- What is the most rewarding thing for you about your pagan path?
- My core beliefs and ideals can finally be recognized through Paganism. I find that Pagans have the potential to be more open minded and accepting of people differences, which is different from how I grew up. I feel more at home and at peace on this path.
- What are you looking to get out of this community?
- to meet some people who like to have fun but share similar views as myself. Let's face it... it's nice to know there are otherws out there like us!

Blessings on the night of the Full Moon to you, hon! I am learning about the goddess Brigid who has called me back on my path, and would love to work with her Fire aspects of healing. That is also what I am doing in my self-learning from that book I told you about--she has continuous self-healing rituals in it and they contribute to learning in a safe magickal way. Lots of cleansing, and good for the soul material! LOL!! So, right now I am working with Self-healing and preparing myself for my further studies on my path.Are you doing anything special for the Full Moon tonight? Me, waiting to see when my fiance will get off work--been gone since 7 this morning, plowing and salting; we got and are still getting tons of snow here in Michigan finally! It's actually starting to look and feel like winter here again!

Hi, Nikki. Thank you for the friendship add! Actually, Hawaiian and Celtic is something I've been meaning to know more about but it hasn't entered my studies yet. I am self-learning out of a book called Be a Goddess! by Francesca DeGrandis, and her teachers were Cora and Victor Anderson, who had background in their oral teachings with Fae when they taught DeGrandis--and some of her teachings on her path The Third Road (a school in San Francisco) have it incorporated with her work. Otherwise, I am not really sure.I am an avid book reader, though, on many things in the Craft. Do you read any books, or how are you learning about Paganism/Wicca?
Have a great weekend, and I will try to stay on top of things over here; I have quite a few groups I'm in, and am heading a group I started over at PaganSpace that I'm trying to keep things flowing in with the others.

Welcome, Nikki! That is interesting...more and more people I meet are into Reiki. I would love to learn more about that kind of healing. I am starting to work with the Celtic goddess Brigid and am incorporating other studies and paths into working with Her with healing.
