I agree I hate cutting down a tree just for decoration. I think we are getting that silly purple one LOL

I am personally against the idea of killing a tree just to bring it into the house. If I had to have one, I would go with a fake tree instead of a real one. Personally - I think there are many other yule decorations out there that can be just as ...

Tell us a little bit about yourself
I am a new solitary witch on a Celtic path. I also find myself drawn to Native American ways. I guess you could call me a Celtic Indian :) I think I have always been a witch. When I frist started reading and learning it just felt right and explained a lot of things about my life.

I enjoy many different arts and crafts. Rubber stamping has been my passion for many years. I make all my own greeting cards and most of the birthday and Yule gifts every year. I'm having fun incorporating my Craft in my crafting. This year I made soap for Yule gifts complete with oils herbs and a fullmoon :)
What is the most rewarding thing for you about your pagan path?
I've always been a bit of a loner so being a solitary witch is prefect for me. I get to practice what I believe in not what some one else tells me to believe in. I have always had a very spiritual side finally there is an outlet for all those feeling.

Samhain 2009

We had a great Samhain Celebration. Unfortunately with work schedules we couldn't take the 3 days we had to do everything in one night. My day started right after work at 7am with cooking! Sabbat is a lot of work ya know!LOL I started off baking blueberry and raspberry muffins while they were baking I stirr… Continue

Ohio Renaissance Festival

We had a great time at the Ohio Renaissance Festival even if the weather did suck. It was the last weekend for it and we got some great deals. I now have my winter planned for me. We bought 2 cloaks I will be stitching Celtic knots and symbols on if I can find a pattern I like.

Apple Butter Stirrin'

We had a fun time at the Apple Butter Stirrin' in Roscoe Village(old canal town). It's my favorite festival I try to get to it every year. When the kids were younger and in school and belonged to different groups we would be there stirring apple butter or pressing cider. I kind of miss that part well except f… Continue

Autumn Equinox 2009

Had a great Sabbat! Cooked a pumpkin for pie and made oatmeal muffins for breakfast. We also had roasted root veggies, grilled chicken, grilled portabella mushrooms and garden salad. We had an early meal since my boyfriend had to work afternoon shift. You can't see it but I stamped the offering pla… Continue

Corn Moon Esbat

Last nights Corn Moon Esbat was very energizing! After a ritual bath I headed outside. Unfortunately it was too windy to work out there. I just sat under the moon and meditated for a while then made an offering before going inside to spellwork. I didn't have any corn meal but hey I'm a Scot so oatmeal will always do!LOL
