To be perfectly honest I do not know. I have never tried it in that context but I guess it could be rewritten to do so

CENTURY TO CENTURY
Century upon century
That my soul searcheth for thee
Meeting for but a short and fragile spell
But our souls and spirits to time will tell
When we are together to be eternally true

I've watched families break down over the years...
And still I find it matters not
I've watched places that should be happy turned empty by foolish thought...

Some tidbits that seem complete but not...
You call me heartless
You call me cruel
I call it survival
I learned it from you
You think I don't care
You think you know it all
I know the truth
I am as I should be
Cold cruel and heartless.....
((I wrote this primarily for Security/Police etc but I know that it has help other professionals like nurses etc))

I ask your light protect me

Personally I find it a soothing scent after a severely stressfull or emotionally taxing day so the making little dried bunches out of it sounds great for potpourri.

Lovers and madmen have such seething brains,
Such shaping fantasies, that apprehend
More than cool reason ever comprehends.
The lunatic, the lover and the poet
Are of imagination all compact:
One sees more devils than vast hell can hold,
That is, the madman: the lover, all as frantic,
Sees Helen's beauty in a brow of Egypt:
The poet's eye, in fine frenzy rolling,
Doth glance from heaven to earth, from earth to heaven;
And as imagination bodies forth
The forms of things unknown, the poet's pen
Turns them to shapes and gives to airy nothing
A local habitation and a name.
