Im scared...about....something....

Hi everybody,
My names Rin-sessho Shaodow, but call me Rin. Im 13.
But, my moms a christian and so is my whole family....and, even night before dinner they say there pray. and im always late so i dont have to say it. And they always ask me if they want to re-do it so i can say it. But i just shake my head and say i said it in my room. if this goes on much longer there gonna have some questions. And i was wondering if i could ask you a way to tell my family with out making them think im...crazy..... = /
my mom knows about wiccan/Pagan, and she wheres the pentacle, but she's not cuz she talks about Jesus a lot.
I just dont know how the rest of my family will look at me after i tell them. and i dont know how to...
i was writing this to ask you if you know how i could tell them... if you do... will you please help me??

my family is completely mixed religions... christians wiccans unitarians pagans shamans buddist and things of every such nature.... i will try to give you advice on hiding because i had to do it for 5 years...

its ok to sit there while they pray, you can do all the christian stuff as long as you still follow your own beliefs... hidding paganism is almost impossible... cuz technically all religion is pagan... all you have to blend your own beliefs into everyday life. dont hide it... if they ask you a question about it say what i said to my grandparents. "im just not sure about gods will but i still belive" that statement broken down basically says i dont want to follow your beliefs and i still belive in something that makes me a good person. the trick is to do spells circles and rituals silently... i dont know about anyone else... but a good circle or ritual makes me want to dance sing and basically party. so quick rituals subtle groundings and follow the kiss method until you can find your own way of doing things...

Rin, I'd like to give ya some "temporary advice" and a lesson in tolerance...Here goes: Why don't you (at the time of 'grace') bow your head and either mouth the words or pretend to say it siliently to yourself with your eyes shut, and when they know that you are faking it, they will ask you and you should politely say " I'm sorry, Mom and Dad, but I feel a little differently about God...I feel like I want to express my religion in my own way....." and tell them with "I" statements such as these and make your own up... If you want to, just write it down in your journal and recite what you want to say in your head before dinner time. But you should never EVER be afraid of your parents if you have a problem, you can always go to them first...But if it's not going to be easy for them to accept "your new religion." It may be a bit of a struggle and at times, you may fight about it, but I have learned in all my religious experience, that God/the Goddess, is closer to the vein in your neck! He and She will not leave you. Just keep trying to remain calm and not yell, and when they see the peace in your heart, they should be able to understand why it is that you love this religion, and they won't try to break you up from it....

I hope I helped you to overcome your fears... Now your second duty is to teach them about your religion as you see it and as educatedly as you can...Than means telling them that it is a Pagan religion (Wicca) and what it all involves... The more "homework you do, on the subject the better they will feel you are equipped to handle it... You Should Really ASK DARK RAVEN ABOUT ALL THIS, But as I said, I hope this helped you.
