Kitten Troubles

My moms kitten is in the hospital. He'll be there for 48 hours and possibly have to have surgery.

He ingested something and it's stuck in his lower intestines. Yesterday he was just vomiting, and he stopped eating and drinking. He's the sweetest little kitten. He brings so much life and joy to the house.

I just don't know what to do, so I've been cleaning and trying to find things that he might eat. We did this before we brought him home, but we must have missed something. Since there's not much else to do, I'll keep cleaning.

Does anyone know of anything I can do?

He is a sweetheart. He's fully recovered now and back to his old ornery self. He's getting really big, so I'm thinking he'll be bigger than my other Siamese Luna, she's huge. Thank you all for your support. : )

Thanks : ) He's finished his medicine. He seems mostly back to his old self. We have to be really careful about the amount of food we give him. For some reason he overeats and I guess that's what partially got him into this mess. I'm happy to have him home though. The house didn't feel right without him.

He came home Wednesday. He's doing much better, but is a little skittish now. I guess he had gastritis. So he is still taking meds but he's eating and drinking and chasing my other cat around the house again.

He's better, he's been in the hospital for three days now. But they said it wasn't something he ate after all. It isn't Distemper either, so thank goodness for that. They don't know what's wrong with him, but he's eating food again.

Hopefully he can come home today.Everyone misses him. The house just doesn't seem right without him.
